What is the location?

We’re hosting at the Gaslight District - 64 Grand Ave S, Cambridge, ON N1S 0B7

What is the age restriction?

We are a 19+ event. Please bring government issued ID to show when entering the festival. 

What are the festival hours?

The main event is 4 pm – 11 pm and the after party is 11 pm - 2 am. 

Is there a VIP section?

The Gaslight District is offering VIP packages at the Underwing. This includes private space with table service, private washrooms, dedicated bar with glassware, a specialty bar menu, a snack menu for sharing, access to outdoor standing room, and access to the afterparty in Tapestry Hall.

What is the weather policy?

We are a rain or shine event.

What's can I expect from the afterparty?

The afterparty will be hosted inside the luxurious Tapestry Hall, from 11 pm to 2 am. With stunning visuals from the murals, vibrant production, and premier musicians, it's the party you don't want to miss!

What can I pay with at the festival?

Rising Tide is a cashless event. Only credit and debit cards will be accepted methods of payment.

What if I require medical assistance during the festival?

Rising Tide will be staffed with first-aid medical services. 

Will there be food vendors?

Yes, we will feature a variety of food trucks and vendors. The Gaslight District will also offer restaurant options on-site. 

What can I bring into the festival?

Government issued photo identification
Small bags, backpacks, plush backpacks, & purses (maximum 12″x12″)
Plastic water bottles and CamelBaks (with no more than two main compartments and one smaller compartment) – MUST BE EMPTY UPON ENTRY
Cell phones
Fanny packs
Sunglasses & hats
Cream-Based sunscreen
Lighters and factory sealed packs of cigarettes and factory sealed disposable e-cigarettes
Earplugs
Powder makeup and factory sealed tampons
Sealed packs of gum
Physician-prescribed medication that is not expired and only enough for use on the day. The label on the bottle must include the following: your name (matching your photo ID), name of the medication, directions to use, date prescription was filled. Medicines will be reviewed upon entry.
Non-professional flash/still cameras, handheld video devices under 6″
Glowing/illuminated costumes or jewelry
Sealed lip balm
Flow Wands
Glow Whips

What is prohibited in the festival?

Outside food of any kind
Over-the-counter medication (available from a first aid station)
Illegal drugs and substances, including unmarked liquid or pill medication bottles. Unmarked liquid or pill medication bottles.
Weapons of any kind
Pepper spray and mace
E-cigs or vapes that have refillable liquid chambers
Selfie sticks including GoPro poles
Skateboards and rollerblades, hover-boards, scooters, bicycles, and other personal motorized and non-motorized vehicles
Culturally insensitive attire or deliberately offensive clothing/costumes (subject to the scrutiny of door staff)
Masks that are restrictive (breathing) or fully cover the face
Non-cream-based and liquid/spray sunscreen (aerosol)
Drug paraphernalia (including vaporizers)
Laser pointers (or similar devices)
Eye drops
Liquid makeup or unsealed tampons (upon entry)
Glass, cans, cups or coolers
Noise making devices
Fireworks, fire-starters, and open flames
Markers, pens or spray paint
Large chains or spiked jewelry
Unauthorized solicitation or marketing materials (e.g., handbills or flyers)
Tents, large umbrellas, chairs or blankets
Oversized purses, bags, duffel bags or backpacks
Any bag or soft-sided container, with or without handles or carrying straps, larger than 12” x 6” x 12” (30cm x 15cm x 30cm) (or exceeding 864 cubic inches/13,500 cubic centimetres of total volume).
Open packs of cigarettes (upon entry)
Outside beverages (including alcohol, cans and bottles)
Professional photo, video, or audio recording equipment (SLR/DSLR cameras) – No detachable lenses, tripods, big zooms or commercial-use rigs
All unapproved unmanned aerial systems (UAS) or drones
Animals not authorized under the Provincial Emotion Support Animal, guide dog or service animal laws (Documentation from a regulated health professional is required)
Massagers
Stuffed animals or dolls
Frisbees
Any item deemed to be dangerous by the Rising Tide staff, Venue staff, or Law Enforcement Officers

Is cannabis allowed in the festival?

Only cannabis products purchased legally may be brought into Rising Tide Music  & Arts Festival. The cannabis must be sealed in packaging. Any cannabis products that do not abide by these rules will not be permitted or accepted into festival grounds.
Individuals may carry enough for personal use only. Patrons in possession of cannabis are required to notify security at point of search. Cannabis can only be consumed in the designated consumption area. No sale of cannabis is authorized on site. No glass or metal containers. No edibles.

What are acceptable forms of ID?

Government issued photo ID will be accepted and must be presented upon entry. 

What if I lose something at the event?

If you lose an item during the event, please contact info@risingtidefest.ca with a detailed description and/or photo of the item.

What is the parking situation?

We recommend using a transportation service, such as Taxi's or Uber/Lyft. Parking is scarce and first come, first serve in downtown Galt. 

Does Rising Tide accommodate accessibility needs?

Rising Tide is proud to accommodate all guests! We will provide accessible toilets and ensure a smooth entry. 

Are lockers available?

Unfortunately, there are no lockers available inside the venue. 

Will there be refillable water on-site?

Yes! We will have refillable water stations. You may refill a water purchased from a vendor on-site or bring an empty water bottle.
